The Rwanda Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (RSOG) is committed to advancing maternal and reproductive health through advocacy, training, research, and service delivery. To strengthen our programs and enhance visibility, we seek a Communication and Program Assistant who will support program activities while ensuring effective internal and external communication.

Role Overview & Responsibilities

As our Communication and Program Assistant, you'll provide operational and administrative support to RSOG programs while leading communication and visibility efforts. This role requires strong organizational, writing, and communication skills to ensure effective coordination and professional representation of RSOG's work.

Qualifications & Competencies

Project Support • Plan, execute, and monitor RSOG projects • Coordinate training and workshops • Follow up on action items and deadlines • Support grant writing and guidelines • Assist with ongoing campaigns • Support sexual reproductive health development Executive Support • Administrative support to MD and President • Manage schedules, meetings, and travel • Coordinate planning and budgeting • Oversee event logistics and documentation • Maintain partner communications • Ensure confidentiality and discretion Communication & Visibility • Draft newsletters and press releases • Manage website and social media • Coordinate branding for programs • Create communication materials • Develop success stories and reports • Liaise with partners and media

Required Documents:
What We're Looking For Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, or Social Sciences 2+ years in program support, communications, or administration Experience in sexual reproductive health matters MS Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
